Build your boating skills in a fun, supportive workshop. Taught by women, for women. No mansplaining. Just clear demonstrations, engaging interaction and relevant practice. And lots of laughter! We’ll work together on developing four core boating skills; docking, navigation, diesel engine maintenance, and crew overboard rescue. Learn docking and crew overboard rescue techniques relevant to YOUR boat by participating in either a sailboat OR a powerboat break-out session for each. Learn the foundations of marine diesel maintenance and troubleshooting with an engine in the classroom. Develop your navigation skills on YOUR tablet; download the popular Navionics basic app (Google: "Navionics Free Trial") and bring it to the seminar for hands-on practice. Come away with inspiration, new skills to practice, lots of local resources, and new woman boater friends!
Monday, January 29 is also "Women's Day" at the boat show. You can get in FREE but you must get your ticket online PRIOR to the show. That link is not up yet. Keep checking here. You must download this free pass because it will not be available onsite:
